Brian Davies

Brian F. Davies, directs collaborative projects as an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati’s [UC] College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. He regularly teaches studios in experience design at UC’s top ranked interior design program*.
Davies comes to academia from a professional background in architecture and interior design with published projects in Interiors, Metropolitan Home, Ocean Drive, The New York Times, and Vogue. Davies earned a Master of Arts in Interior Design from Cornell University in 1999 with a concentration in theatre lighting.
He integrates strategic thinking, design processes, and passion in his teaching and research. His research has been acknowledged in academic journals including DesignIntelligence, international conferences and proceedings, industry publications including Viewpoint, and public media including the Discovery Channel Canada. His research and teaching have been presented to academic peers, Fortune 500 executives, and government agencies in the US, France, and Singapore.
