Harry Cunningham, Senior Vice President of Store Planning, Design, and Visual Merchandising,
Saks Fifth Avenue

Harry is responsible for store planning, design and visual merchandising at Saks Fifth Avenue, and store planning and design at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. Previously, he was VP of creative for the Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH division, overseeing all store design, visual merchandising, and branding efforts for that division. In addition to a new prototype concept for OFF 5TH that debuted in 2007, Harry and his team recently launched a new design for the company’s “WEAR NOW” business at the Saks Fifth Avenue division.

Prior to rejoining Saks, Harry spent a year at Liz Claiborne Inc. as director of visual merchandising, leading worldwide merchandising direction and showroom installation for several of the company’s brands. Previously, he was VP of visual merchandising for the Proffitt’s/McRae’s division of Saks Incorporated until Saks’ divestiture of the department store business in 2005. Harry’s background also includes 10 years with Dillard’s Inc., where he held roles of increasing responsibility, with his most recent position regional director/visual merchandising, overseeing stores in the Southeast United States.

Harry is a member of the advisory boards for DDI magazine, The High School of Fashion Industries in New York City, and the FIDM Visual Communications Advisory Council.
