James Bellante

James Bellante is Group Vice President of Visual Merchandising for
Macys stores nationwide and is based in New York City with Corporate headquarters in Cincinnati Ohio.  He has held his current position since April 2009 and prior was the Senior Vice President of Visual Merchandising for Macys West, at the time a San Francisco based division of Macys Corporation.

James is responsible for the establishment and execution of strategic Visual Merchandising efforts in the company including new stores and renovations, all in-store marketing execution and seasonal visual merchandising direction. His time with the company exceeds several years in key roles throughout his career including, VP Merchandise Execution, VP Creative Director, Director of Stores Visual Merchandising and Regional positions.

James received his degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles and has a liberal arts education from De Anza College, Cupertino California. James is a PAVE board member and his work has been celebrated and published in VMSD, DDI and Views and Reviews.
