| The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) awarded $21,000 in grants to students and $6,000 in school awards based on the winning entries of its 2010 Student Design Competition. Judging took place Nov. 8, 2010, at Godiva Chocolatier’s offices in New York. The competition was geared toward college-level students involved in retail planning, visual merchandising, interior design, and branding programs. PAVE thanks Godiva Chocolatier Inc., the sponsor of this year’s competition, and all of the judges, educators, and students who participated. The awards were presented at the 14th Annual Gala in New York on Dec. 8, 2010. |

This year’s winners faced a competitive field with a record breaking 440 entries — 312 in the overall store design category and 128 in the visual merchandising category.
