Record-breaking attendance and committed sponsors boosted proceeds of PAVE’s 15th Annual Gala to over the $140,000 mark — an unprecedented feat that will enable PAVE to continue its significant support of retail design education. Click here to see photos from the event.

Held at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, the fundraiser — an annual industry highlight — drew over 600 influential retailers, designers, and industry suppliers from the likes of Saks Fifth Avenue, Godiva Chocolatier, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Target, Chute Gerdeman Retail, d-ash design, Callison, and TPG Architecture, to name a few. Eight students with winning projects in the Student Design Competition and four educators attended through seats donated by industry companies.

PAVE's mission of nurturing young talent was much in evidence at the reception, which showcased the White Wonders student project with mannequin, forms and accessories created by students from the Fashion Institute of Technology, FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Marywood University, the Ohio State University, Radford University, San Joaquin Delta College, TAFE NSW Sydney Institute, and the University of North Texas,

During the awards presentation, PAVE recognized the winners of this year’s PAVE Student Design Competition, sponsored by Sephora, awarding $27,000 in grants to students and schools. For a complete list of student and school recipients, visit www.paveinfo.org.

Other awards presented at the Gala included:

Silver Award –  Tiffany & Co.
