Job/Project Description:
As Project Manager, you will be directly responsible of customers’ retail design project from conception to installation and maintenance. As an integral part of our client services team, you will be responsible for the following:
• Develop design of retail spaces from concept to design;
• Apply knowledge of interior design and millwork principles to projects;
• Direct the preparation and coordination of commercial and technical documents;
• Attend client and production meetings and lead all design presentations;
• Direct the coordination, research and selection of materials for the projects;
• Direct the preparation of: reviews and critiques 3-D models, architectural plans, and other presentation materials;
• Assist President/Vice-President in the development of proposals, fees, and budgets and take “ownership” of successful proposals assigned;
• Continually monitor the progress and financial performance of the project
• Communicate and document scope of work changes by the client;
• Implement controls to assure scope of work is followed;
• Travel to customers' sites in the United States, Caribbean and/or Latin America, depending on assigned portfolio (approximately 30% of the time)
Experience/ Skills Desired:
• Degree in Interior Design
• 3+ years experience using AutoCAD (2007-2010) drawings of store fixtures, custom furniture or floor plans
• 3+ years experience using Photoshop, Corel Designer & Sketchup
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great organization skills required
• Experience with luxury retail and/or workshop environment a plus

Job/Project Description:
Responsible for creating designs and drawings that accurately reflect the customer's wishes within the scope of what can be produced at Spartan. The drafter provides the production team with a depiction of the final finished product, as well as all the necessary specifications regarding sizes, shapes, materials, etc.
Experience/ Skills Desired:
•Proficiency in drafting and the ability to create drawings manually with little or no assistance;
•Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor software is required;
•Ability to learn various construction methods relevant to our products and the manufacturing capabilities of the plant;
•Strong math skills including trigonometry are required to calculate angles, co-signs, end points, and various dimensions;
•General computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel);
•Written and oral competency to interact with project managers, purchasing, production, and others in the drafting and estimating departments, as well as the occasional customer.
• Excellent reading skills are needed to correctly interpret various forms, instructions, and communications.
•Attention to detail is a critical skill.
